BREAKING DOWN
Ullaar is owned and run by an award-winning architect in sustainable design, energy conservation and an entrepreneur in hospitality and tourism. Both the main house and the guesthouse have been exquisitely designed using locally available sustainable materials like mountain stone, wood, and AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) blocks for excellent thermal insulation and durability. The aesthetics are in sync with the lush surroundings, and there are plenty of eco-friendly features for guests to enjoy on the property.
Ullaar’s main goal is to become a zero-waste homestay, with recycling and composting already practiced throughout the site. All activities have been chosen to limit the impact on the surrounding area, offering mountain hiking, trekking, bird watching, and berry picking as eco-friendly options.
